In the film, we wanted to capture the devastating impact of divorce through a child’s eyes. The story unfolds as a young voice recounts a violent argument between their parents, with the parents animated as nightmarish figures to reflect the child’s fear. Just as the confrontation escalates to its catastrophic peak—both parents reaching for a gun—the tension breaks as we reveal the weapon isn’t there. Thanks to their family law attorney signing Pierce’s Pledge, the gun was removed from the home, protecting the child and both parents from tragedy.
